Ouragan House Publishers was established in 2018 to create book, e-book, and audiobook productions based on stories that were first told in the Offbeat Oregon History syndicated newspaper column. The column, founded in 2008 to provide a local-content resource for community newspapers, has over the years been expanded to include a Website, a podcast, a strong social-media community, and now a book and audiobook resource.
